"A better world for children with diabetes"
  - the vision expressed in the mission statement of the International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD).

SWEET is a European project to improve secondary prevention, diagnosis and control of type 1 and type 2 diabetes in children and adolescents by supporting the development of centres of reference (CORs) for pediatric and adolescent diabetes services across the EU.

This three-year project will make a concrete contribution to a number of relevant elements of the Public Health Programme.
